Engine

Designed to offer outstanding power, reliability and durability, the FPT N67 is a Stage V 6.7-litre, 24-valve, six-cylinder turbo intercooled engine with electronic common rail injection system that delivers up to 225 hp. The turbocharger ensures high performance, responding fast to engine load changes. During transport or PTO applications, the Power Plus system delivers an additional 10 hp to handle tough conditions. The engine’s maximum torque of 921 Nm is available from 1,400 rpm and remains constant until 1,800 rpm, with up to 41% torque backup. The FPT N67 allows a maximum speed of 50 km/h at only 1,690 rpm, resulting in significant fuel economy. The average fuel consumption is the lowest in the segment: only 17.1 l/h.

Transmission

The innovative P6-Drive transmission improves the performance and versatility of the X7.6, both in the field and on the road. The P6-Drive with robotised range shifting and electrohydraulic steering-column power shuttle offers six on-the-go powershift speeds and five ranges providing 30F/15R speeds. The creep speed option increases the number of speeds to 54F/27R. The top speed of 50 km/h is achieved at low engine rpm, which reduces fuel consumption. In addition, the new Oil Cut Off automatic lubrication system increases the efficiency of the P6-Drive transmission during transport operations, further improving fuel economy.

Traction

The X7.6 P6-Drive is built to tackle rough terrain, steep inclines and tough conditions with ease. With its engine located within a cast-iron chassis, which moves the tractor’s centre of gravity forward, and its rugged front axle with independent suspension, the X7.6 P6-Drive puts all of its 225 hp to the ground, more than any other tractor in its class. In addition, the tractor’s even weight distribution reduces soil compaction while improving traction. The X7.6 P6-Drive also provides optimum grip and stability for maximum driving safety on all terrains.

Hydraulics

Made from high-quality components, the hydraulic system of X7.6 P6-Drive features a Closed Centre Load Sensing (CCLS) system with variable displacement pump. This technology regulates the oil flow to the remotes, thereby eliminating unnecessary power waste that may affect the tractor’s performance. The system supplies 160 l/min to the hitch and remotes and 52 l/min to the steering system and to other hydraulic functions, allowing for simultaneous operation of all hydraulic devices. The X7.6 P6-Drive can be fitted with up to eight remote valves with push-pull couplers: six at the rear, equipped with a three-way flow divider; and two mid-mounted. The system is fully configurable from the DSM display to meet the user’s individual requirements.

Maintenance

Daily maintenance must be simple, otherwise it will be postponed. The maintenance of the X7.6 P6-Drive is quick and easy to perform:


  • The tilt-up bonnet opens wide providing full access to the engine for simple and quick, tool-free maintenance.


  • The engine oil can be topped up without opening the bonnet, as the oil filler cap with dipstick is located in the lower part of the engine.


  • The engine air filter is easy to clean and replace.


  • The coolers located in front of the radiator open fully from a single latch to allow simple, fast and thorough cleaning.


  • The HI-eSCR2 aftertreatment system is maintenance free, which reduces operating costs and unscheduled downtime.


  • The fuel and AdBlue tanks have different caps and are conveniently placed to allow quick and safe refuelling.


  • The in-cab air filter is easily accessible for quick maintenance.


  • The oil level in the transmission can be conveniently checked through the transparent oil filler cap with level gauge located on the rear of the tractor.


  • The windscreen wiper fluid reservoir is located on the rear of the cab.


  • The Automatic Grease System automatically delivers oil to all lubrication points, resulting in significant time savings.


  • Maintenance intervals have been doubled from 500 to 1,000 hours.
