The X7 SWB tractors are powered by Stage V compliant FPT N45 and N67 self-supporting engines with multivalve technology that deliver up to 175 hp. The FPT N45 are 4.5-litre, 16-valve, 4-cylinder engines, while the FPT N67 are 6.7-litre, 24-valve, 6-cylinder engines. Designed with power, reliability and durability in mind, all engines are turbocharged and intercooled and use an electronic common rail injection system. The four-cylinder tractors have a wheelbase of 2651 mm, while the six-cylinder models have a wheelbase of 2760 mm. The self-supporting design and the short wheelbase make the X7 SWB tractors extremely nimble and efficient. During transport or PTO applications, the Power Plus system automatically delivers an additional 10 hp to handle tough conditions. The average fuel consumption of the X7 SWB is up to 10% lower than that of competing tractors.

VT-Drive:

Powerful and versatile, the X7 SWB tractor is a champion of efficiency. This is partly due to the VT-Drive, a continuously variable transmission designed to exceed current technology standards. The four-stage VT-Drive transmission delivers superior responsiveness for best-in-class performance. With its four speed ranges, the VT-Drive transmission not only provides enhanced operator comfort and optimum fuel economy but also increases productivity. The VT-Drive transmission is quite easy to use: you just need to select the direction with the power shuttle and step on the accelerator. This simplicity of operation makes working with the X7 SWB efficient and stress-free.

P6-Drive:

The innovative P6-Drive transmission improves the performance and versatility of the X7 SWB, both in the field and on the road. The P6-Drive with robotised range shifting and electrohydraulic steering-column power shuttle offers six on-the-go PowerShift speeds and five ranges providing 30F/15R speeds. The creep speed option increases the number of speeds to 54F/27R. The top speed of 50 km/h is achieved at low engine rpm, which reduces fuel consumption. In addition, the new Oil Cut Off automatic lubrication system increases the efficiency of the P6-Drive transmission during transport operations, further improving fuel economy.

Built to tackle rough terrain, steep inclines and tough conditions with ease, the 7X SWB is the tractor that transfers more power to the ground in its power class, thereby delivering outstanding traction for better grip and stability both in the field and on the road. In addition, the tractor’s lightweight design and optimal weight distribution reduces the amount of soil compaction, thereby preserving soil fertility.

Made from high-quality components, the hydraulic system of X7 SWB features a Closed Centre Load Sensing circuit (CCLS) with variable displacement pump. This technology regulates the oil flow to the remotes, thereby eliminating unnecessary power waste that may affect the tractor’s performance. The system supplies 160 l/min to the hitch and remotes and 52 l/min to the steering system and to other hydraulic functions, allowing for simultaneous operation of all hydraulic devices. The X7 SWB can be fitted with up to eight remote valves with push-pull couplers: six at the rear, equipped with a three-way flow divider; and two mid-mounted. The system is fully configurable from the DSM display to meet the user’s individual requirements.
