Equipped with differential lock, wet disc brakes and fourwheel drive, the reliable front axle of the G-Max offers a high ground clearance and a 55-degree steering angle. These features increase traction and manoeuvrability, improving comfort, safety and productivity.
Features
Cab
Operator comfort is maximized with ergonomically-arranged intuitive controls, air-suspension seat, adjustable telescopic steering wheel and climate control. Up to 12 halogen lights ensure optimal illumination of the work area at night.
Engine
The FPT NEF 67 6.7-litre, 6-cylinder turbo intercooled engine delivers up to 157 hp with a peak torque of 691 Nm at 1400 rpm, for improved traction and up to 10% fuel saving. A 260-litre fuel tank ensures longer operation. Maintenance checks are a breeze with the tilt-up bonnet.
Transmission
The XtraShift transmission with 6-speed powershift (HML) and three ranges provides 54F/18R speeds. The de-clutch function and the reverse power shuttle allow for quick gear shifting and smooth forward/reverse shuttling. A creeper unit increases speeds to 108F/36R, allowing a minimum creep speed of 350 m/h.
Hydraulics
The closed-centre hydraulic system with variable-displacement pump provides a total flow of 148 l/min. The G-Max offers up to five mechanical remote valves and an electronic rear hitch with a maximum lift capacity of 8400 kg. The rear PTO with electrohydraulic control and multi-disc wet clutch provides 540/1000 rpm.
