Designed with versatility in mind, the B-Max tractor range is built to cater to a wide variety of applications, including open-field activities, haymaking, vegetable farming, vineyards and orchards. The two- and four-wheel drive axles with Hydra-Lock full locking differential manufactured by Argo Tractors provide outstanding traction on all terrains. The four-wheel drive engagement and the electrohydraulic rear differential lock deliver efficiency and safety in any situation.
Features
Four-Post Cab
The four-post cab is perfectly sound insulated and ensures excellent all-round visibility and enhanced operator comfort. All versions come equipped with an automotive-style fit and finish, air-suspended driver seat, adjustable steering column, redesigned dashboard, and conveniently-arranged controls. The suspended foot pedals help minimize dust ingress and vibrations. A climate control system and air filters maintain a comfortable work environment all year round.
Engine
Available in naturally-aspirated, turbocharged and turbo aftercooled versions, the Perkins 1104D 4.4-litre, 8-valve, 4-cylinder engines deliver from 82 to 111 hp with peak torques from 289 to 416 Nm. A fuel tank with up to 100-litre capacity guarantees long running times without refuelling.
Transmission
The B-Max tractors feature a 12F/12R synchro shuttle transmission and can be equipped with a 16F/16R creeper unit allowing a minimum speed of 0.35 km/h. A 12F/12R power shuttle transmission with de-clutch function is also available for easy forward/reverse shifting and smooth clutchless gear changes.
Hydraulics
The hydraulic system supplies 54 + 30 l/min to the hydraulic functions and steering system, further enhancing the ride comfort. The B-Max offers up to four rear remote valves and a two-speed PTO with 540/1000 or 540/540E rpm, plus a ground speed PTO. The rear hitch has a maximum lift capacity of 5080 kg.
