Overview
Simple, Effective Conditioning
Provide a cost-effective and high-performance solution, offering many benefits including Lift-Control® suspension, cost savings, fewer repairs and reduced fuel consumption. FC 3515 D mower conditioners offer a working width of 11'5" (3.5 m).
The FC 3515 D is ideal for small- to medium-sized farms looking for a simple, yet robust mower conditioner. With an 11’5” (3.5 m) overall working width, this mower conditioner can be either a stand-alone rear mounted mower conditioner, or it can be paired with a front mounted mower conditioner to complete the package. The FC 3515 D features the heavy duty Optidisc Elite®, cutterbar utilizing a through-bolted design and is lubed-for-life. The operator has the flexibility of the two-speed DigiDry®, finger conditioner to condition to optimal forage moisture. To ensure safe road travel, the machine features 126° vertical folding to increase stability as well as lowering the overall height.
Features
Optidisc® Elite Cutterbar
The Optidisc® Elite cutterbar provides a flat, streamlined profile so that soil and crop residue do not accumulate, and material flows smoothly, even in heavy, difficult crop conditions. Optidisc Elite cutterbars are designed and tested with a zero-oil change interval. The highly-polished gears and synthetic gear oil ensure that this system does not require any regular internal maintenance, eliminating the need for cutterbar oil changes throughout the life of the machine.

Protectadrive® Minimizes Downtime
The disc bearing station can be removed and mounted quickly and easily. Any needed repair is carried out at reduced costs from the outside with minimal downtime.

Standard Fast-Fit® Knives
The Fast-Fit® quick-release knife system allows an operator to rapidly change out cutting knives with the use of a simple tool, yet still retain optimum cut quality and knife life. With Fast-Fit, an operator can achieve up to 50% time savings over a standard system.
Multiple Rotor Speeds
Rotor speed can be adjusted from 615 to 888 RPM by switching the side pulleys. The slower speed is recommended when harvesting more delicate crops such as alfalfa.
Lift-Control Suspension System
The Lift-Control hydropneumatics suspension’s principal advantage is derived from the exclusive way in which the kinetic forces that act on the cutterbar are utilized. As the force exerted on the cutterbar increases, the suspension system automatically lightens the cutterbar. The greater the force, the lighter the cutterbar. This allows the machine to quickly adapt to changing terrain, minimizing ash content in the crop, protecting stubble, reducing wear on the machine and lowering fuel consumption.
Active Non-Stop Breakaway
No one can afford to damage their mower during the peak hay season because of forgotten or unnoticed obstacles. The mowing head will pivot up to 25° to the rear. At the same time, the mowing head will lift to clear the obstruction and then automatically reset to the original mowing position. There is no need to stop and reverse to reset the mower.
Pendulum Frame Design
The pendulum-type articulation provides constant pressure over the whole mowing unit including on uneven ground. The articulation allows for 26" (66 cm) of travel (+14" (35 cm) /-12" (30.5 cm)) which makes mowing in uneven or hilly terrain possible. To accommodate different width front mowers, the operator has the ability to offset the mower 6" (15 cm).

FlexProtect™ Side Shields
FlexProtect side shields allow for close cutting on field edges and better deflection if encountering a foreign object.

Safety During Transport
In transport position, the mower folds at 126° to increase stability and reduce the overall height of the machine, ensuring operator comfort and safety.

DigiDry® Finger Conditioner
The DigiDry® finger conditioner provides consistent drying of grass and legume crops in various conditions with little maintenance. Wide rotor, finger style conditioning increases crop-on-crop rubbing to strip off the waxy cuticle layer helping stems dry at the same rate as the leaves. The built-in break back feature normally protects against damage from rocks or other foreign objects.

Adjustable Conditioning Intensity
Quickly and easily select from multiple conditioning hood positions to fine tune the intensity of crop conditioning. Additionally, these models have a conditioning comb that can be set in multiple positions.
In grass, it is recommended to set the conditioning hood as close to the rotor as practical without causing plugging, and for the conditioning comb to be fully in the path of the crop stream for maximum conditioning effect.
For legume crops, such as alfalfa, set the hood so there is slight scuffing of the stems, but little to no leaf detachment and take the comb completely out of the crop stream.
Depending on the crop and volume, periodic adjustments may be necessary to ensure desired conditioning.

Wide Spreading
Wide spreading is standard without needing to remove the swath deflectors. Operators can benefit from up to 80%+ swatch/cut width for maximum drying.
